Rewards - Lost Treasures - Shark Pass - Relatives - Shivers

A new content update is on the way with refreshed rewards, a new event collection system, more shark relatives, social upgrades, and cleaner species data.

  • Removed the Summer Crate from the active reward rotation.
  • Completely refreshed Cosmetic Crate rewards with a new Cosmetic Crate 2 profile icon set: Cobbler Wobbegong, Japanese Saw Shark, Pelagic Stingray, and Whiptail Stingray.
  • Refreshed the 7-day login streak profile icon reward with Barndoor Skate.
  • Refreshed leaderboard ranking rewards and added clearer daily, monthly, and all-time leaderboard obtainment labels.
  • Added referral rewards, including referral profile icons and profile data syncing for claimed referral rewards.
  • Added the new Lost Treasures event with collectible bottles, scroll/card collections, duplicate exchanges, category progress, completion rewards, and dedicated event profile icons.
  • Added Lost Treasures card art and generated collection artwork across shark and relative categories.
  • Handed out participation awards for the second global event, including the Megalodon escape participation reward flow.
  • Added a new Shark Pass reward set with Shark Pass 2 profile icons and updated rarity display support.
  • Added ways to obtain some older cosmetics through updated obtainment paths and refreshed cosmetic source labels.
  • Added chimaeras, ghost sharks, ratfishes, and other chimaera relatives to the relatives pool.
  • Renamed the close-relative Daily and Infinite modes to Relatives so rays, skates, sawfishes, guitarfishes, and chimaeras share the same mode.
  • Added a species classification guard so entries missing name, family, order, or genus are excluded from playable species pools.
  • Added Shivers, a new group system with create, join, manage, discover, and leaderboard support.
  • Added Firestore rules for Shivers, shared membership, invites, requests, and related group data.
  • Added a dedicated Shark RNG leaderboard with best roll, rarity tier, prestige level, roll count, and current-player highlighting.
  • Improved Shark RNG prestige display, leaderboard layout, and narrow-screen leaderboard readability.
  • Added profile theme assets and display support for new profile themes.
  • Improved the home page quick access and event surfaces for Lost Treasures and the current reward systems.
  • Mirrored the new species, relatives, reward, event, Shivers, and leaderboard changes into the mobile build files.

UI - GAMEPLAY

Complete UI overhaul with improved gameplay experience.

  • Improved UI for all pages.
  • Reworked the Sharkpass, added seasons, quests to earn more XP and more obtainable rewards.
  • Added a prestige system to sharkRNG
  • Added a new currency, earned by winning games.
  • Stopped luck potions from merging on sharkRNG and made them stackable instead.
  • Reworked the world map with improved visuals and gameplay.
  • Added the blacktip reef shark back to the game.

Summer is here!

  • Summer is here! Unlock a new LIMITED summer crate!
  • The summer theme will stay for the duration of summer!
  • Craft summer crates using 2 cosmetic crates!
  • Added a new reward for the number 1 player on the daily and monthly leaderboards!
  • Reworked the WORLD MAP completely with a better story and challenges!
  • Added a new secret minigame, its hidden.❤️
  • Added a new and improved profile picture selection UI.
  • Changed crate drop rates to 50% (previously 35%)
  • Added click to view on the leaderboard!
  • Removed and fixed some bugs tied to the suggestions box!

Streak Shield - Site Themes

Minor adjustments and improvements.

  • Added Streak Shields to the game. (Obtained via crate drops)
  • Added Seasonal Site Themes (Summer, Christmas, Halloween, Anniversary)
  • You can disable seasonal themes in the profile tab at any time.
  • Added better search querys to the sharchive
  • Added Admin Abuse functionality for developers.
  • Added new sections to the leaderboard, daily and monthly!
  • Fixed an issue with the daily gamemode.

Social systems - World map - UI overhaul

The biggest Sharkdle update yet!

  • The World Map is here, explore regions, unlock locations, and complete the story!
  • Added social features including friends, profile viewing and duels.
  • Expanded profile customization, new unlockable badges, profile pictures and profile themes.
  • Added notifications for unlockable cosmetics so you can see what you unlock!
  • Added cosmetic crates, 35% drop rate after winning a game.
  • Improved leaderboards to incorporate the profile themes.
  • Added new sharkpass rewards.
  • Added a new secret minigame, its hidden. (it may have something to do with the developer)
  • Reworked the UI on most pages.
  • Renamed the beloved library to the Sharchive.
  • Removed a repeat of the short crested angel shark in the shark list.
  • Use Code "UPDATE2" for Goblin Shark PFP + XP!
